Lahore—Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) showed its strength in Lahore on Friday, as it held a big public meeting at Bhatti Chowk, in which PML-N senior leader and Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif slammed President Asif Ali Zardari asking him to quit, otherwise, be ready to face accountability through Parliament.
In his hard hitting speech against President, Shahbaz Sharif said: “President Asif Zardari should come out among people; otherwise ready to face wrath of people at Bhatti Chowk. “We would not tolerate corrupt elements anymore and hold them accountable of their misdeeds. Last fight against Zardari is now all set,” Shahbaz said in his speech amid slogans of “Go Zardari Go.”
The PML-N had announced to hold Go Zardari Go rally from Nasir Bagh to Bhatti Chowk but in view of massive public participation, the rally converted into a public meeting.
